A CHILD
The innocent smile,
Blue green eyes full of bewilderment,
A kid an infant a tiny creature,
Waiting anxiously to grow up,
Grow up to what, grow for what,
The failures, the pitfalls the misery or pain,
Sanity emotions and thoughts drowned in vain.
Well may be it will try to find joy and glee,
Maturing gradually to be careless and FREE....

mirror mirror on the wall
who is the saddest of them all
don't you lie tell me now
mirror mirror on the wall ?
The mirror says....
So dark runs the sadness here
the air is foul, the stench so near
seeking the meaning you have long forgot
your heart has long begun to rot!!
seek the colours of the rainbow
and the sweetness you used to know
fill your heart with hopes of love
there is plenty if you look my dove..
Life is not a big mystery
it just needs some love 'n chemistry..
@ well wisher,
Your advice well received,
it wouldn't be wrong to say,
mirror mirror on the wall,
who is the chirpiest of all,
the mirror replies:
Its bright, its new its fresh in here,
its alive it's happy its you my dear
The mystery the gloom has perhaps vanished,
the rottenness that you have banished,
love and bliss shall find you dear,
happiness is truly here.
First I thought I will pass this w/o comment, but then this is something I too think at times.
Maybe we could help the child in avoiding the pitfalls of life by teaching him/her to be a little street smart, teach him/her to take the middle path w/o being too aggressive or over zealous about anything, and to take life one day at a time.
I agree, but I sometimes am compelled to ponder since our own learning never really stops, how do we impart the right wisdom....
